About Harold
Harold Kahane is a filmmaker born and raised in New York City. He earned bachelor’s degrees in Film & Television from NYU Tisch and in Business, with a concentration in Finance, from NYU Stern. His work often explores class tension, human absurdity, and existential satire through darkly comedic lenses. He has written, directed, and produced short films, served as an associate producer on a feature, and recently produced a feature film. He is the co-founder of Kilohertz, a New York-based filmmaking collective of emerging artists from NYU Tisch. Harold was a Telluride Film Festival Student Symposium Fellow and the recipient of NYU Tisch’s Jagat Murari Directing Award.
